AgriStock is operated by Beacon et Charis Global Ltd. We run a web desk today and a mobile client, both talking to one API. The economic object is warehouse-backed lots. The secondary object is a listed-agri watch so processors are not erased from the story.
We care about tables, remaining quantity, warehouse maps, and statements. Decorative UI that hides the unit price is a defect, not a brand.
We are not a licensed NGX dealing member. We are not a bank. We are not a commodities exchange. We are not a global stocks supermarket. We are not a charity that “empowers farmers” as a substitute for paying invoices and listing honest lots.
Those sentences protect farmers as much as they protect investors. Hype that cannot be operationalised becomes someone else’s loss.
Product teams ship buttons. Companies need a place that can speak in long sentences: rice politics, maize-feed links, cocoa versus grinders, palm plantations versus CPO in a store. Wealth-style intros work because they take time. AgriStock.org is that time. The app remains the desk you fund.
Hostinger or Netlify holds this static site. Vercel holds the Next.js application. Render holds the API. That split is boring infrastructure and therefore correct.
Web first. Same backend for Flutter. Payments through Paystack. Email OTP through a proper sender when the domain is verified. WhatsApp and Telegram OTP are in the plan, not in a fake footer of “available on all channels today”. Maps when the key is set. KYC vendor when the cheque is written. NGX full tape when a licence and a feed exist.
Soft launch is a real status. It means you can use the desk with eyes open, not that every future sentence on a pitch deck is already true.
Allocators who want food-system exposure without pretending they bought a farm. Farmers and aggregators who can survive a pending listing. Warehouses that can put a pin on a map. Partners who would rather read a risk page than a firework animation.
